Duque de Caxias, crossed by the Washington Luís Highway (BR-040) and the Arco Metropolitano, is one of the state's main logistics hubs and accounts for 17 of the 30 projects in the MM Obras portfolio.

MM Obras’ role

Architectural design and construction

On this project, MM Obras was responsible for the architectural design and the construction — from the warehouse concept to delivery ready to operate.

The works were contracted on a cost-plus (management) basis: MM Obras planned, coordinated, monitored and supervised every stage of construction, from March 2018 to March 2019.

A steel structure, an insulated roof and an industrial concrete floor were specified for the performance of the logistics operation, with dock levelers and a sprinkler system.
